Dani is a Los Angeles based intercultural and multidisciplinary artist whose current work explores the interrelationship between sound and movement. She has an extensive background in dance, ritual theatre and music, including a BFA in Dance at California Institute of the Arts and independent study in Brazil.
Contributing to her local Community, Dani has been creatively involved in the Santa Monica Festival, GLOW Festival, World Festival of Sacred Music, the SMARTS (Santa Monica Arts) in the Schools Program, 18th StreetArts Center and performances at Highways and Bergamot Station.
In addition to being on faculty at Santa Monica College, her teaching practice has taken her to Wesleyan University, UCLA, UC Riverside, Pomona College, East Coast Spirit Festival, Esalen Institute and the Pierre Verger Foundation in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.
Spanning from the physical to the metaphysical, Dani synthesizes her many disciplines and integrates her various certifications of Deep Listening, Vocal Yoga, Sound Healing, Sacred Geometry and the Gyrotonic Method.
Dani is currently co-facilitating Rainbow Body Matrix in residence at Electric Lodge in Venice, California — and grateful to be part of the Deep Listening community.
